Interesting read from the former head of trust at Twitter. It raises the question: if Twitter can’t moderate hate speech, could it run afoul of some other tech titans?

This is such an interesting conversation to me. It's drilled into journalists to "report the news, not *be* the news." But at a time when trust is plummeting, many people don't really understand what we do or consider us elites, I wonder if being more personal helps bridge the perceived gap between us and readers. My goal in the next few weeks is to set up a server for the journalism students I teach so we can collectively explore how media outlets might go about hosting conversations about the local content they produce.

Keeping with pictures of Orion, for comparison sake I compared my view from Toronto (Bortle 8-9) with a spot just outside Huntsville, Ontario (Bortle 3). Same smartphone camera: Pixel 4 Astrophotography mode.
