#mst210 just re-read the mastodon guide book & realized we could totally each make a custom "list" timeline of our classmates, which might make things a bit easier to locate toots that don't have the hashtag. I think it still only features public noots tho...
#mst210 how do we want to go about addressing policy changes and administering 'strikes' for breaching guidelines? Someone mentioned earlier that these types of things should be decided by "democracy" of sorts, and I definitely agree since it's a community. Do we want to have some select people as "moderators" who can facilitate community resolutions? Or do we want more of an equality-based approach where every person is in charge of addressing problematic behaviour they come across?
so #mst210, how would we like to decide on some guidelines? I think I will brainstorm some ideas today and post a picture of what I come up with? if we all make some suggestions, then we can discuss what would make the most sense.
One community rule I think we should definitely consider is in regards to "ownership" of the photos (i.e. who has the right to use/distribute photos submitted to the exhibition). And the more obvious rules about having mutual respect between club members.
Hi project B folks. I think I'm going to start using a hashtag for toots that relate directly to the project so that I can search for relevant posts later when writing the paper. Would #mst210 work? Y'all don't have to do it too, I just think it makes things a bit easier to me /gen
