I'm currently working on setting up my own Masto instance. Just to get the experience, really. We could also experiment with a simple federation.
@ggow will do. Unfortunately, after a few hours of banging my head against it, I've stopped with the install guide. Either their guide is out of date, or some scripts are -- so many missing dependencies!
I will try again later with a simpler "1-click" install. It will be an older version of Masto, but may still federate.
@robertwgehl Yes, let's plan to try to federate our instances. I can't see an obvious way to do it, so this will be a good chance to figure it out.
