@teyplays #mst210 i think we can have both of the suggestions you have put together. like the moderators could be maybe those who founded the community and the first people there and they could help organize when we have to do votes and make decisions and such (maybe this group could have final say in big decisions perhaps) but everyone should also be monitoring for problematic behaviour at the same time since its everyone’s responsibility to keep it a safe and fun space.
@jjk99 @rochehid Jenny makes a great point about reducing bias. Perhaps the moderators could be the club founders like Ana suggested, but they have equal voting power? So the extra support is available to start conversations about making changes and help resolve more complicated interpersonal issues, but otherwise, everyone has equal footing. #mst210
@rochehid @teyplays I like the idea of the equality-based approach. Just to keep everyone involved and actively participate so we reduce as much bias as possible.
