Hi project B folks. I think I'm going to start using a hashtag for toots that relate directly to the project so that I can search for relevant posts later when writing the paper. Would work? Y'all don't have to do it too, I just think it makes things a bit easier to me /gen

@rochehid there's a large list of mastodon instances. Many of them have their guidelines in the description. I'm having trouble joining any instances, but even just getting a general idea is helpful.

@rochehid @keltyn @jjk99 I really like this idea! Also, do we maybe want to do a poll to "vote" on what we want to do? Unless people are generally in consensus

@jjk99 that's an interesting suggestion! I'd like to hear what @intermediarstudio thinks about it because I had thought the photo exhibition was related to the idea of intermedia commons, but I could be wrong on this

@jjk99 yep just realized I didn't have the right timeline pinned. But I see you now

so project B folks, what sort of approach would we like to make for making rules/guidelines for our instance? I was thinking we could look at what some other clubs/event communities have done and discuss what we might like to consider

This is an instance of Mastodon at the University of Alberta. We are using this instance mainly for testing, but we welcome those who want to learn more about open source social media.
