I noticed we can't edit our toots after its posted - well the process is a bit different: we can delete and redraft. It copies and pasts the original toot back into the type bar and you can edit it there and repost the toot entirely.

@jjk99 yeah, I noticed that too. I'm not sure how I feel about it because then the time stamp is different. But it is nice that it re-enters your new post at the top of the feed unlike edited ones.

@teyplays hmm good insight on the timestamp! Yes very true how it places the content we put out here at the top of the feed. The other perspective is if there were a lot of interactions with a particular toot, it would suck a little to have to repost it entirely without having the ability to fix a small and maybe embarrassing error lol. Lots of pros and cons haha

@jjk99 lol case in point about the delete + re-draft thing, I just did that for the post you replied to because I realized unlisted makes it so it doesn't appear in any timelines, I thought it just made it for your federation. Now it made everything out of order
